David S. Christian, P.E., President
David Christian serves as the president of DC Engineering. He is experienced in municipal sewer system investigations, municipal systems in multiple site developments, rehabilitation design analysis, preparation of design documents, cost opinions, and project implementation. He is responsible for sewer investigations, separation designs, bidding, and construction administration for clients. Mr. Christian worked on the City of Lansing’s Combined Sewer Overflow Elimination Project and has extensive experience in sewer system investigation and rehabilitation work.
A 1986 graduate of Michigan Technological University, David earned his professional engineering license in Michigan in 1990. He specializes in municipal sewer transport systems, road and bridge design, private site development, county drain design, and construction survey layout.
Kurt R. Krahulik, P.E., Vice President
Kurt Krahulik serves as the vice-president of DC Engineering. Mr. Krahulik earned his masters degree from Pennsylvania State University and specializes in hydraulics and hydrology. He is experienced in open and closed storm system designs, detention pond design, and BMPs for system improvements. Kurt is proficient in municipal sewer system investigations, rehabilitation design analysis, preparation of design documents, cost opinions, and project implementation. He is responsible for sewer hydraulics, system designs, bidding, and construction administration for clients.
Kurt graduated from Pennsylvania State University in 1993 and received his professional license in Michigan in 2000. He specializes in municipal sewer transportation systems, open channel hydraulics, and private site development.
Curt R. Merrow, P.S.
Curt Merrow serves as the professional surveyor at DC Engineering. His expertise includes: aerial mapping control; MDOT mapping; topographic survey; field investigations; utility research; construction layout; boundary survey; ALTA surveys; and easement preparation.
Curt is responsible for selection of appropriate survey methods, traverse and level adjustments, scheduling of crew time, and quality assurance. He is skilled at preparing certificates of survey, legal descriptions, and easements.
Ms. Smith is responsible for business management and assists with project work. She is the first to respond on the Basement Backup Protection Helpline managed by DC Engineering. Evelyn holds an Associates Degree in Business Management.
